Making a Commitment

Commitment Ceremonies are for people who cannot marry for legal reasons, or for couples who have been together but are not ready for marriage, but would like to make a commitment to each other.

You can have a private ceremony with just the people concerned, or you can have guests to witness your commitment to each other.

This ceremony is not to be confused with a legal marriage, and it is not legally binding on those who participate.

Each ceremony is unique to the couple. Working with the Celebrant, you can create your own special celebration by selecting words, vows, music and readings that are special to you.

A Commitment Certificate is presented at the end of the ceremony.
